<title>Comments on: CN GP9RM 4100 and GP9 4502 work an extra work train dumping ballast on the Halton Sub, seen west of Brampton Station near Mile 16.0 with some CN track workers helping out. The downtown Brampton station is off in the distance, beyond the signals for the CN-CP Brampton diamond.

The switch on the left was for Moore Canada (dry kilns manufacturing), it&#8217;s unclear when they closed down but the factory at Pleasantview &amp; Fairglen was demolished sometime after 2002 for residential housing. Just behind the photographer was the switch for the Dixie Cup Spur at Mile 16.1. In 2007-2009, this section of the Halton Sub would get upgraded with a third track to the south, from Norval to just west of the diamond.
