<title>Comments on: CN has this really funny tradition of taking the initials of a person’s first name and middle name then jamming them to the front of their surname and coming up with station names. So, in this case, The Canadian is just departing Jaleasie. The man the station is named after is a former Superintendent of Kamloops, J. A. Leslie. Other examples include: Wabron (W. A. Bron) on the CN Clearwater sub and Wabowden (W. A. Bowden) divisional point on the Hudson Bay Railway. I would love to see railroaders butcher the pronunciation of Mpkreiser station.</title>
