Comments on: CN L562 and a couple of people out for a nice Saturday cruise squared off in a rather unevenly matched drag race down in Port Colborne, making for this scene. Should have put a loaded tank behind the bike to even things out, I suppose.

A tank car for braking? Seems to be the opposite of a buffer car for Ethanol trains, etc.

On this particular day they had actually just finished a one off move – two transformers for the nearby hydro substation. The tank made the round trip, presumably brought along for braking. Got to watch them make a run around move here, which was a first for me in the seven times I’ve caught this.
