<title>Comments on: CN Locomotives spotted between Spadina Avenue and the Spadina Roundhouse in this mid-1962 picture.
The visible engines still have CNR maple leaf paint schemes that preceded CN black and orange-red.
Beyond MLW RS10 units CN 3107 and CN 3109 are MLW S-4 CN 8145 and GMDD SW1200 CN 7025.
Similar switcher exhaust stacks can be seen in the row behind the switchers, then the cab of an MLW RS-3.
Near left is the long hood front end of a Grand Truck Western EMD GP9.
With steam engines out of service, the ash pits are covered (between rails across from 3107&#8242;s cab) and the ash conveyor structure is gone.
Partly obstructed by the left side of CN&#8217;s water tower is the 34 story Bank of Commerce Building, for many years the tallest building in Toronto, in Canada, and in the British Commonwealth.</title>
