@Paul..thanks for the compliment. I do like posting photos that show a different side of railroading that others may not get a chance to see. I love seeing others photos on the web too as they capture images that I don’t get a chance to go out a take anymore

#docta..not sure what train went through at 3pm. I was already in Frontier Yard by then. It might have been a 562 from Pt Rob to Aldershot

I heard a train blasting through Merriton around 3ish but missed it while coming out of Sobeys. Caught me by surprise

@snake.. yes 421 ran earlier that day and did its work at Aldershot and Hamilton. 532 had CSX and NS traffic. I set out the NS traffic ad Ft. Erie for them to pick up and took the CSX stuff to Frontier Yd.
I am told 330 traffic is sent to Mac Yrd and from there its moved on 421. It makes zero sense to me to take cars 50 miles east only to send them 50 miles back from where they were and from there to Pt. Rob.

@nginnered…was this train in addition to 421 that day….i.e is 330′s traffic going to Mac Yard to warrant this train? Today a 562 came up from Niag and turned at Aldershot. yesterday 422 worked Hamilton AND Aldershot. Things aren’t consistent.

@Docta. Thanks for the compliment, its appreciated. I do get a some views that few others get to experience, that is true. It does come down to a SAFETY FIRST priority as expected by my company. I am sure I have seen many pictures that we railfans have gone to great lengths (sometimes dangerous) to capture.
This shot may be a bit more difficult as the bridge is filled with many devices and sensors to alert authorities of non railway movement on the bridge. Can’t get into too much detail, but as those reinactments always say “don’t try this at home” might fit the bill here.
