Comments on: CN P27691 18 is seen on the approach to Mandaumin shortly after departing Sarnia. Having captured the first trainset entering Canada, and some testing on the Chatham Sub (both at night), it was nice to see one of these new Siemens sets in the daylight. I must admit, they look pretty sharp.
The consist of this delivery extra is:

CN 3087, SIIX 2204, SIIX 2603, SIIX 2703, SIIX 2803, SIIX 2303, SIIX 2903

Well done, good picture of a full train set, and thanks for the information on the train set numbers. Not sure I understand the numbering scheme, but it appears the power units are “2200’s”, the coaches are 2600’s, 2700’s, 2800’s and 2900’s and cab/coach 2300’s. Is this correct. Thanks for posting, John

Thank you, I don't normally luck out like this. For multiple reasons, either the good stuff comes at night, when I'm working or when I'm sleeping after working all night on a train and the last thing I want to do is go back to work to take photos. Haha.
