Comments on: CN ran a Jordan Spreader up the Newmarket Sub from Washago to Huntsville today, first time I’ve seen one in these parts since about 30 years ago when they used to keep one parked at Martins or in Huntsville Yard to use in the area. There wasn’t much for it to do on this part of its run except push back banks a bit more as they were on the heels of a ballast regulator from at least Falkenburg, but it was reported they encountered more snow than expected down south of Bracebridge from the dumping of the other day, so I’m assuming they had to do all the work from Washago to Falkenburg. Here it’s seen waiting for the south switch at Martins to be set for the siding so it can do a little clean-up there although the previous crew had already done the bulk of it.
