<title>Comments on: CN train #401 was a daily &#8216;treat&#8217; for the fans. You never knew what kind of power would be on it. The railfan routine was to go into Hamilton&#8217;s Stuart St yard and find out; for in the mornings this train would back out of Hamilton until clear of the Junction at Bayview and then get lined up westward up the Dundas Sub.
Today&#8217;s CN 2024 and 2000, a pair of C-630Ms made for an eventful chase and I followed this train as far as Paris.
All locomotives in this series were off the CN roster by 1996.</title>
