<title>Comments on: CN train 479 is seen here nosed onto the Fort Nelson Extension with a short train of fuel to bring to the community of Fort Nelson, some 250 miles north. The &#8220;old main&#8221; can be seen to the right and ends in about 35 car lengths. At one point this was the northern most point on the PGE until the early 1970&#8242;s when the railway was extended to Fort Nelson. It&#8217;s just past 0900 and the sun is only beginning to rise. The old station building once sat somewhere around where that pile of snow to the left is.</title>
