Comments on: Cold and crisp on this February morning at Bayview Junction. Didn’t see much action (too cold) but at least this shot turned out nice. CN 5197 and 2001 westbound entering the Dundas sub from the Oakville. The 5197 (SD40) was sold to Connell Leasing (GEC Alstom) in 1997 and the trailing 2001 (MLW C-630M) was retired by 1996.
For some odd reason while recording the month, I forgot to write down the day.

Thank goodness for those few out there that shot video with sound.
I have a terrible time trying to recall sounds in my noggin'.
Gotta admit the sound was addictive.:o)

Is this 407 ?
The CP boxcar with the red shield ( dry, high-class merchandise only, if I recall) is intriguing. It looks to be 5 digits, starting with a '4'. Have to wonder if it's part of the headend setoff along with the assorted covered hoppers ( cylindricals and slabsides). So Brantford or Woodstock ..?
The one flat with containers is also interesting.
