<title>Comments on: CP’s run to Port Maitland is one I’ve had little luck catching. This day I forced myself to put the effort in to catch the very last run between the old Canada Southern E&amp;O junction and Smithville. Unfortunately I missed the southbound run but caught the last northbound run for the final time. This section of the line was loved by railfans due to a number of old wooden trestles. The same reason it was abandoned unfortunately due to maintenance costs and CP installing a new connection on the former CASO. I have yet been able to make a return trip. Here the crew sits on the old now removed wye at Smithville, stepping down for a few photos before working a local industry and heading home to Welland.</title>
