Comments on: CP 141 makes it’s normal afternoon trip down the St Thomas Sub and is about to duck under the 401 at Putnam. This train was what you shot when there was nothing else moving, too bad it’s just history now.

The CN yard in Ingersoll was still active then as well with 583 based out of there I believe.

So true on why we shot it. I only chased it 3 or 4 times. It was 6 days a week and ran like clockwork.

Power was often the same for weeks to months at a time since it was an outpost job at st thomas. Got boring fast but it was a darn cool operation.

Add to it the tk21 and tk12 jobs on the st thomas sub plus cn 583 in Ingersoll and 513 in st thomas and it was a busy piece of railway.
