Comments on: CP 143 slowly curves its way into Hamilton behind UP 5550 and KCS 4166. I came very close to missing them here having woken up a little after 10 this morning…I had a couple emails on my phone indicating that 143 was on its way. Originally I had intended on going out to Waterdown for the train but Steve told me to get to Hamilton instead to be safe. I actually went over their head end on Plains Road after getting off Highway 6 leaving me less than a minute to get in place and get my shot.

Yeah, Jazzy Joe, that ^%^$%#^& train was really moving. Guelph Jct at 1030 and Welland by 1205 (I'm told)........it had already gone by, unbeknownst to me, when I arrived at Grassie around noon figuring it wouldn't be up the hill yet. I somehow missed scanner talk after hearing the clearance for the Ham Sub at 1008.
