Comments on: CP 242 climbs up from the bridge over the Thames river and Oxford street, at the base of the hill down from Lobo, with an impressive consist of CP 6050-5966-HLCX 6337. A small break in the clouds shows on an otherwise cludy morning shows off what remains of this year’s fall colours. The train would tie down in Quebec street yard, with the power continuing east on 244 later in the evening. The entire train was dropped at London to be switched out by the yard crew… tomorrow. With SD40-2′s leading and a leased unit in the consist, this train seems like a flashback to the pre-EHH era on CP!

Great shot! Haven't seen 6050 since 87-03-28 when it was in Port Coquitlam BC. Used to live just north of the CP Thames River bridge. Loved the sound of trains crossing it!

Thanks Dan! I was lucky to be in the right place at the right time for this shot - about 3 cars after the engines passed, the clouds rolled back in and it got dark again.
