Comments on: CP #557 heads north on the Hamilton Sub approaching Guelph Junction with a nice mix of 90′s “St. Lawrence & Hudson” eastern power lead by CP 7311, one of the ex-D&H, nee-LV GP38-2 units that CP acquired when they took over control of the D&H. Behind is all-black CP 5485 (an ex-NS high-nose SD40-2, relegated to B-unit status), and CP SD40-2′s 5698 and 5637, both repainted into the then-new CP “Golden Beaver” livery. All were Binghampton (D&H) assigned units, except Toronto-based 5637.

The train appears to be about to cross Campbellville Road, and will soon swing a right onto the Galt Sub at Guelph Junction for Toronto.
