Comments on: CP 651 passes a classic staggered searchlight protecting the east end of Belle River siding. I happened to be out attempting a chase of a CN reroute that was held up in Windsor when I heard this guy on the radio get a clearance to Ringold from Walkerville. I had always wanted to shoot this signal and figured I’d try out a golden hour silhouette. I got lucky the nearby farmer working the fields was on the opposite end of from the tracks or else this shot would have been all dust. You can see the train kicking up some that had settled on the rails before hand.
