Comments on: CP 7020 is the DPU on empty ethanol train CP 651, seen passing Lasalle Yard.

As per CP’s website “CP 7020 wears North Atlantic Treaty Organization green, which the Canadian and U.S. armies apply to fighting vehicles and equipment serving in temperate climates.”

Yes, 651 comes up the D&H from Albany, but it heads to North Dakota I believe, not the Canadian prairies.

Very nice lighting Michael, it certainly shows off the 7020’s paint scheme to its best. I had noticed earlier that even the fuel tank and truck frames are painted in NATO green. The black & white strips on the edge of the running board and all the way around the unit shows up nicely in your picture, and is a nice contrast to the green.
I take it CP 651 comes up “the D&H” from Port of Albany and is headed to the prairies. Well done and thank you.
