Comments on: CP 8217, with CP’s Test Train, backs out of Windsor yard and across the Essex Terminal diamond as it heads east to clear the “Lakeshore” interlocking. Once clear 8217 will head west through the tunnel to check the track geometry and then come back to Windsor and tie down for the night.

I actually think that the tank was a 'rush' that they shoved out to Walkerville for a lift on another train. They went west through the Tube with it and then when they shoved back to Windsor they went all the way to Walkerville to wye the train and come back. When I saw them the next morning heading east, the tank was gone.
