Comments on: CP 8601 (AC4400) in clean paint with the new beaver emblem leads a CP freight train north on the Hamilton Sub assisted by UP 5550 (ES44ac with UP class AC45CCTE) and CP 2211 (GP20C-eco). Most of the train is still on the other side of Hamilton’s High Level Bridge. North-side Desjardins (canal) signals are behind the last visible autorack. CN’s Cowpath and Hamilton Junction are alongside.
CP2211 has often been part of a helper set – this train will go up the hill with just the power seen here.

Oops ! Yes, if this is a NB then I would say it's CP 247. Don't think this is CP 255 or anything.

I have the impression (heard train # mentioned sometimes) that CP 246 is a mixed freight train I've caught southbound over this part of the Hamilton sub either side of noon (more often afternoon). But this one is northbound around 10:10 AM - might be 246's counterpart ?
