Comments on: CP and NS power in the Port of Montreal. CP 142 with an unusual GP20C-ECO leader and two NS units trailing (CP 2205, NS 8362 & NS 2693) is light power in the Port of Montreal after dropping off its train. After the switch is thrown, the power will back light on its way back to St-Luc Yard.

Thanks, agreed it is an odd combination. I have seen CP’s GP20C-ECO’s lead intermodal trains more than once last year. Here’s CP 133 with two up front.

I saw this on the line-up but down my way in Niagara this train passes in the middle of the night. Nice catch of a real odd combination.
