<title>Comments on: CP GP38AC no. 3016 leads H24 on their eastbound trip back to Lambton as they pass underneath a few signal cantilevers from different eras at Streetsville Junction. The structure on the right hand side likely dates back to around the 1940s or 50s, and a searchlight occupied it until about 2019 when this controlled location was cut over to LEDs and they opted for a ground-mounted signal instead. The cantilever at left dates back to the 80s when CTC on the Galt was initiated for the Milton GO line, it also had searchlights on it until the aforementioned cutover. It&#8217;s honestly kind of surprising to me that the empty structure is still standing here as it doesn&#8217;t appear to be serving any purpose anymore, and I wonder how much longer it&#8217;ll end up standing for. For the time being, it serves as an interesting artifact, paying homage to days gone by.</title>
