<title>Comments on: CP H16-44 8715 is seen switching at Ingersoll in July 1972. The view here is looking northwest from the CPR Ingersoll yard area at Mile 8.9 of CP&#8217;s St. Thomas Sub. CN&#8217;s Ingersoll station is visible in the background on the right, along their Dundas Sub on the other side of the Thames River. On the left in the background one can see the Ingersoll Cheese Company building by some CN hoppers (CP&#8217;s St. Marys Sub had a spur running along Carnegie St. to access their siding). Nelson BC was traditionally the home of CP&#8217;s fleet of FM/CLC power which rarely made it to the east, but units 8715 and 8716 were outfitted for use on the Speno rail grinding train that roamed the system including in the southern Ontario area. Both weren&#8217;t always used at the same time, and sometimes one would make it into regular freight or local service.</title>
