<title>Comments on: CP Rail SD40 5564 rolls past Galt Station on the head end of train #521, with an ex-QNS&amp;L SD40-2 (one of 15 purchased by CP in early 1985) second-up ahead of a large block of black and blue Conrail GP38 units dead-in-tow. No specific units were noted by Bill on this slide, but there&#8217;s at least 10 of &#8216;em back there. They were part of 40 Conrail GP38 units in the 7700- and 7800-series being leased to chronically power-short CP through Helm, arriving in Canada for service in late March/early April 1985.
