Comments on: CP SD70ACu #7008 leads an AC44 and another ACu through the Mount Pleasant block signals on a chilly evening. I was quite lucky to have been in this spot while the train passed, as a brief patch of sunlight was shining through on what was an almost 100% overcast day.

Liam, very nice picture in what used to my own backyard. Brings ack many good memories. Back in the 1980’s & ‘90’s, lived about a 1/4 mile east on Palomino Cres, backing onto North Toronto Sub and what a change in CP motive power from that time ! Walked my children over the railway footbridge partly showing in the background to Whitney Public School many times. The east bound signals look the same as they did 30 years ago, but the double cross over here has long been removed. Thanks for sharing this photo.Question, how did you get through the fence ?
