Comments on: CP train 952 at Annis Bay on Shuswap lake with a 5400 series and a 5350 series. My dad and uncle often took the train to Sicamous and stayed at the station hotel. They got a sleeper section on the train because that was the cheapest accommodation that would permit them access to the observation car where they spent as much time as possible. Sometimes they rented a row boat at Sicamous. That may have been how they got to this location, or maybe someone gave them a ride by car. The highway is near here. It is about 4 miles west of Sicamous.
