		<description>I worked on CN  on the yardman&#039;s spareboard  before quitting and going over to CP. If I recall, relief for those switchtender jobs was provided by the yardman&#039;s  spareboard. If you look beyond the chairs, you can see a &quot;dugout&quot; roof. These dugouts were placed at different spots through the terminals. They provided shelter from the elements. They were quite small so as not to foul the tracks on either side.</description>
