<title>Comments on: CPR G1-class &#8220;Pacific&#8221; 1201 is shown operating on an excursion at Maniwaki in 1982. One of the two initial G5 units built by the CPR at its own Angus shops (another 100 G5&#8242;s followed, built by MLW &amp; CLC), 1201 had been preserved and later restored to operation for a number of excursions in the 1970&#8242;s and 1980&#8242;s. It is presently stored out of service at the Canada Science &amp; Technology Museum in Ottawa.</title>
