Comments on: CP’s business train “40B” departs Agincourt Yard after a short stop for a recrew and some fuel. An observant friend of mine pointed out that the consist only featured units in the “block” scheme as opposed to mixing in “script” units. Perhaps on purpose, or just a neat coincidence? Either way the ACU looked sharp as did the rest of the train.

@Steve, I've gotta say I'd definitely take that pair of 38s any day over this most recent setup. It's unfortunate that 3084 doesn't seem to really be around anymore, plus the fact that it lost it's class lights and factory numberboards in the most recent rebuild.

Worst? It's the best part. It's like a classic Generator/APU which you'd find on older CN / CP trains with non steam heated equipped locos or on the ONR passenger trains with their APU.

Just another 'change' of variety on the CP business trains - if it was F units all the time it would just be boring!

This is a perfect example of the variety.. I remember we were a bit complainy about lack of F units but this train really grew on me - it was a one way trip from the USA too!

The worst part of this consist is definetly the F9B last out with the A unit facing into it, very unorthodox setup of F units! although I heard that setup had to do with trying out 1900'S MU post rebuild? either way great shot Mike!
