It was in for maintenance, service, upgrades and new paint. My associate then photographed it at the same location on November 1, 2012 when it was in fresh paint and ready for service. I photographed the #83 Lacombe on May 14, 2002 in Revelstoke, BC bringing up the rear of a CP 2816 steam run. It was nicely preserved and in fresh CP maroon paint.
