 Notable: CRAB ORCHARD and EGYPTIAN RAILROAD  &#8211;  AAR reporting SCOZ: the last steam powered common carrier ( freight only )


 Canadian connection:  the COER steam motive power ( second ) being 1940 built  CLC  ex Roberval &amp; Saguenay #17 , a  2-8-0 in  COER service 1979 until 1986 when mechanical issue sidelined #17, then sold to Boon &amp; Scenic Valley Railroad. ( thank you Donald R. McQueen: Constructed in Kingston )


 SCOZ owned 600 of those highway trailers and a handful of boxcars and 200 trailer flats


 COER remains a common carrier today with SW first generation power.
