<title>Comments on: Cruising through the east end of town, GO APCU 906 trails a 7-car train of bilevels and unknown 700-series GP40-2W leader, heading westbound on the CN Kingston Sub at Scarborough Golf Club Road (Mile 322). Apartment buildings off nearby Markham Road are visible in the background.

The new GO 2000-series Hawker Siddeley bilevels had been in service for a little over a year and a half, but since no matching bilevel cab cars were included in the 80-car order and GO ran all its trains in push-pull service, they either needed a locomotive at both ends, an old single level cab car, or an APCU at one end to lead in that direction from.
