Comments on: CSX B30-7 #5573 sits patiently in the north setoff track at Fargo, Ontario back in October of 1988. 5573 was setoff by CSX Train R320 as it moved across Southern Ontario on it’s way to Buffalo from Detroit. The cars behind 5573 will be lifted by the Local out of Chatham to move north, mostly to refineries in Sarnia. When the local arrives it will bring cars for the westbound R321 to lift and place those in the south setoff. R321 will also lift 5573 to use as additional power to make up for the extra tonnage they will lift in Fargo. Today all that is left here are weeds….

Not sure. I think that one track as already an interchange track as the original C&O/NYC connection was in the southeast quadrant. The two long tracks, the one the setoff is on, and the one to the left of the main might have been leased, and yes those were the two main tracks that CSX used for lifts/setoffs by 320/321.....

Very nice Geoff. I assume at left was the track/small yard that CSX leased from CR (then CN/CP) for use by 320/1 for Sarnia setoffs and lifts - was it in use at the time?
