Comments on: CSXT 400 and CSXT 4049 lead a short CN 327 (63 cars) through Pointe-Claire. Up front are a long string of gons (both new and old ones) containing zinc ore that will be set off at Coteau.

Basically, here it has a CN crew and a CN ID…. but to complicate things, the CN crew (with the CN ID) operates on CSX rails for a portion of its run. It assume a CSX ID once the CSX crew takes over near the border.

So on Canadian rails it assumes a train number and identification of the host railroad then?

Thanks. This is a CSX run-through train, it will reach CSX rails about 30 miles past here.

Very nice Michael. I always find it strange that CN would use solid foreign power in their consist. One would assume its a CSX train..Not consistent in their branding purposes.
