Comments on: Day 4 of my time on the passenger excursion “Chairman Train”. This was going to be a long day, running from Exeter BC to North Vancouver over a goodly portion of the Lillooet sub and all of the slow speed Squamish sub. Anyhow is was a beautiful autumn morning and I imagined the “guests” on board would like some pictures. Then again it was me that really wanted to stop for photos. My handy “CanonPowershot 85″ did what it could for this image. Mile 206 of the Lillooet sub is about the middle of this curved bridge that spans “Fifty One Creek”. I would image that 51 Creek name originated during the old days of wagon road and stage coaches. This was our fourth day on this trip and finally someone back in the coaches thought perhaps it would be a nice gesture to send coffee and two cookies to the “fellows in the engine”. The coffee came in a nice CN mug and we could keep the mug. Unfortunately my mug got broken. It was an interesting excursion and a sad eye opener of how CN management takes the employees for granted.
