So now the Huron Central’s freight, hauled with 3 locomotives sporting the G&W paint that A.W. Mooney *loves* has cleared the town of Bar River and is well on its way. After this spot, it will be well out of the way of civilization for quite some time, before popping up along some cottages on Desbarats Lake, and finally to meet with the greater population in the village of Desbarats along 17. To the GPS comment, don't worry, I had only used it for this HCRY trip since it was my first solo drive in Northern Ontario, and I needed it in case I got lost in the dark! Oh well, give me a "B' for "Bin There". Too add now to my miseries, I've just heard the western part of the DME in the States has been sold to....(gasp) that Orange Outfit.
