<title>Comments on: Deep trip into the archives brings this out. Time is about 16:29 on this sunny February afternoon as the notorious EMD trio pulls GEXR no. 431 into Kitchener up the grade with the motors wide open even with a relatively short train. The Eldorado building on the left has always been an icon for me as I grew up a couple kilometres south of here and would always see it driving down Lackner Blvd towards the tracks, never realized an angle was possible with GEXR and the building until 10 years later which brings this photo. Just 2 and a half years ago it was a whole different look in town railway wise which makes going through shots from then a good time. Haven’t tried CN here yet, but it’s on my list.</title>
