My notes have this as VIA #120 Saturday only scheduled 13:10 Union arrival – except the shadows are rather long&#8230;


Officially the Northlander trains were ONR #121 and 122. 


The CN weekend  service for  Muskoka and beyond was originally conventional equipment until the mail contracts were canceled, then Budd cars throughout the late sixties / seventies.  And throughout the eighties VIA employed otherwise idle ONR equipment.


And do consider &#8211; during this time CN Washago was serviced by 44 passenger trains each week.
