Comments on: Departing Saskatoon
VIA 2 has left the station track at Saskatoon, SK and is on the main to continue its eastward journey on this bitterly cold November 30, 2025 afternoon.
By the end of the journey, we were running 7 hours late, arriving in Toronto at 21:30
There’s nothing wrong with extra hours on The Canadian. :-)

I hear you. Very much how it is described in many captions/comment columns on this site, "as long as you respected the property you were allowed to be on the property". Same with the vestibule doors, as a youngster, the conductor would go by and say, "that is not allowed, but, be good and don't touch things around you, you can stay and look out". On trips to Vancouver, a lot of time being good, watching scenery and having the wind blow by. :-)

Thanks. 40 years ago this would have been a shot from an open vestibule door. :-)
