I hear you. Very much how it is described in many captions/comment columns on this site, “as long as you respected the property you were allowed to be on the property”. Same with the vestibule doors, as a youngster, the conductor would go by and say, “that is not allowed, but, be good and don’t touch things around you, you can stay and look out”. On trips to Vancouver, a lot of time being good, watching scenery and having the wind blow by.
