If I recall, Ontario Northland had experienced some washout-related derailments in the Spring that put a few of the GP38-2s and/or GP40-2s out of service. Locomotive availability was so strained that Ontario Northland was forced to use a SD75I on a round trip on the Northlander to Toronto.
