<title>Comments on: DIESEL DEPARTURE. NF210 # 945 is refuelled just prior to departure as the only unit on Terra Transport&#8217;s Mixed Extra 945 West on April 20, 1987. This was the photographer and his girlfriend&#8217;s (now wife) first ever trip on a Newfoundland train and the two would be the only passengers to travel the entire 138 miles in Coach 757 from Bishops Falls to Corner Brook that day. Narrow gauge unit # 945 was the second last in an order of 9 such 1200 horsepower units built by GMD to be delivered to the CNR&#8217;s Newfoundland Division in 1960. Due to the excellent maintenance carried out by the shop crews after 28 years of service, it would be later sold to the F.C.A.B in Chile in 1988.</title>
