Canadian union agreement rules require Cloth seats, Microwave, Hotplate and since most Foreign units do not have this, these units usually turn at Sarnia or get a Canadian union agreement leader added. But they do not apply to American crews which take trains into, and out of Sarnia. For as long as I've been in Sarnia great stuff always came and left especially on the locals/transfers, and it was absolutely amazing when foreign leaders were running through before Arbitration upheld the Union agreement for leaders in 2008 or so , Hunter Harrison was bent on eliminating the rule and lost.
