Comments on: DOWNGRADE AT BOWRING PARK – Brake shoe smoke envelopes the head end power of Terra Transport Extra 926 East on the hot and humid Sunday afternoon of July 19, 1987. With only a few miles left to go on it’s 547 mile trans island journey, lead engine NF210 #926 and three sisters haul two CP rail boxcars and about twenty green inter-modal containers to it’s final destination, the railyard in the capital city of St. John’s.
