<title>Comments on: During the early 2000’s CP’s MK rebuilds were upgraded for yard service and for the most part pulled from mainline service. They proved to be ideal for heavy service around Thunder Bay at that time with a number of them assigned there. CP SD40M-2 began life as Rio Grande SD45 5333. During the summer of 2003 I managed to catch it busy in the yard there and it would survive on CP’s roster until it’s retirement in 2011.</title>
