Comments on: During the early morning hours of September 20, fog patches briefly rolled through Milton as a meet between a CN eastbound and westbound at Mansewood was being orchestrated. The fog was luckily thick enough to mute the headlight brightness of the eastbound prior to it being completely turned off for the meet. While the low hanging fog creates a bit of an erie setting.

Great photo indeed. I like the “lazer beams” coming from the Clear to Stop signal. A hogger once told me a story about railroading in the fog- “you had to know where the signals were located, then you’d stick your head out the window and see the signal through the fog at 60 mph” he told me. It takes guts to handle a train while dealing with the natural elements that you can’t control, and stay within the rules too!!
