Comments on: During the summer of 1994, the new CN St. Clair Tunnel is seen under construction, while the old tunnel to the left was still in use under the St. Clair River. The new tunnel officially opened a year later and was later renamed the Paul M. Tellier Tunnel in 2004 for the former CN president and chief executive officer.

@Stephen C. Host- Yes, there is a lot to look at. My dad was fascinated by this new tunnel project as well. Unfortunately, we didn’t get anything coming out or going in that day. We were just passing through Sarnia on the way to Port Huron.
