<title>Comments on: During the summer of 1997, a friend and I decided we needed to attempt to photograph the Canadian Pacific “Moonlight” on what remained of the CP Owen Sound Subdivision between Streetsville and Orangeville. At the time it was a spare-board assignment out of Lambton Yard in Toronto and if memory serves it was ordered at 13:00 on Monday-Wednesday-Friday.

After a couple failed attempts, on Monday, July 7 the Moonlight Job arrived in Streetsville with CP 8208, 1117 and 8243 at 14:45 according to my notes. From there the chase would begin. With mid-day summer sun still an issue we headed north hoping for better angles. Here at Mile 8 in Brampton, the Moonlight is viewed heading north at the double crossings at Williams Parkway, which still today have CPR stamped on the signal posts according to Google Street View.</title>
