<title>Comments on: Early Bird gets the Worm. A frigid early morning at Bathurst Street bridge finds GO 529, the only unit that kept its original numberboards, pushing an outbound train past Bathurst St. at 07:11 hrs. The neon glow of the famed Inglis sign lights up the background (later turned off at 8:00am), broadcasting inspirational messages on its LED display to traffic on the Gardiner Expressway. Today&#8217;s message: &#8220;Children Have More &#8211; Need of Models &#8211; Than of Critics&#8221;. To shoot the morning rush, a few liberties were required. It usually went something line: rise by 4:00-4:30am (often on little sleep), a warm shower one was weary of leaving, brekkers, out the door by 5am to catch the 5:20am GO bus, to the 5:50am GO train, arriving at Union Station at 6:25am. Grab a muffin or Cinabon and walk the ~25 minutes (20 if you&#8217;re really running) to Bathurst St. to shoot the morning rush from 7-9am. Then, go about whatever needed to be done in the city, albeit a little sleepy. If one was quick, they could shoot The Canadian leaving at ~9:05 at Bathurst, make it back to Union on foot with time to spare for the 9:30am train back to Bramalea, and be home before lunch (usually followed by a few hours&#8217; nap before the rest of the day).</title>
