I remember taking walks with them to the level crossing at Centre street, Their house cornered a dead end street - which had clear visual to the tracks, made for some enthusiastic train watching in the early 80's by this guy :) Only reason why level crossing was removed and an overpass built was due to a bad accident at the crossing.
