Comments on: Early on a Saturday morning, an eastbound rolls through the open landscape of Chatham-Kent. I had a lot of time to choose this spot, as I heard RTC tell 8571 East that they could proceed from Belle River once the westbound I had just seen in Chatham had cleared. I chose this spot because it was wide open and as quiet as could be – I didn’t see another person or car for the entire time I was waiting here.

Nice one, looks like the mid-1980s when I lived in Chatham.
But, is that a sinkhole developing, right where the 3 hoppers and the pair of yellow boxcars are riding ??

Thank you. I just looked through your shots, specifically with an eye for this location. You've caught some nice trains here!

Nice shot, James. I always liked shooting here until it became overgrown with shrubs and trees. CP recently did a great job on cleaning up the right of way along the west end of the Windsor Sub. Kinda looks like the days of long ago past.
