Comments on: Edmonton to Toronto train 464 on CP’s North Main departs Minnedosa after a crew change and crosses the Little Saskatchewan River. A 1.8% grade eastbound and 2% westbound immediately past the station required the yard to be built on the former Rapid City branch, requiring yarded trains either back in or out as only a east facing switch. Roundhouse was in vacant area near the elevator.

Did some research, in 1995 they were still using the 40′ boxcars for grain loading on the Russel Sub, which was to the west of here a fair ways (almost to the SK border) heading north out of Binscarth. Russel Sub abandoned in 96.
